I was born and raised in Sacramento. My family all still reside in the city with roots going back five generations.
I have been a social worker for 30 years and providing individual, group and family therapy services for 11 years. My journey took me through community organizing, medical social work and a long career helping families at Child Protective Services.
I attend Saint Francis Catholic Church in downtown Sacramento and have over 20 years sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous. I draw on both my faith and what I have learned through the 12 Step program in my work with clients.
Specifically, I help individuals and families manage life's difficulties. I specialize in depression, anxiety, addictions, identity and sexuality issues. In addition, I am here to support and guide in times of transition such as divorce, career change and illness.
I offer individual and family therapy for adults and children. I specialize in 12 Step recovery/addictions, Cognitive/Behavioral therapy, Solution-Focused therapy and a strength-based approach. I am excited to help develop or strengthen your spiritual life as well.
I have space right now for new clients. Its best to call. If I don't answer, leave a message and I will call back within a number of hours. You matter.
